The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) have recently published new guidance on drivers' hours and tachographs.
The new guides update the previous guidance from 2011, and their main aim is to explain the rules for drivers' hours and the keeping of records.
The guidance is addressed to drivers and operators of good vehicles and passenger-carrying vehicles in Great Britain and Europe, whether used privately or commercially.
All our vehicles are equipped with tachograph
As coach operators we are very conscious of the importance these rules have to ensure the safety of our passengers during a coach hire service. Because of that, we are really careful when planning any journey. The operation and driver teams have always the DVSA guidance in mind to never exceed the maximum driving hours and the breaks that must take place.
